I was out of the city and up through irricana for work and wanted to stop for a bite to eat. Stopped at the family restaurant and it was enjoyable stepping into how I remember Albert’s small town restaurants. The old couple who run the place were so kind and sweet and attentive. I had the place to myself and had the fish and chips. The home cut fries were amazing and the the whole dining experience was good to get of... View all feedback.

It was a cold, wet foggy August day for these 2 travelers going East to Drumheller from the Rockies. One of us having picked up a bad cold, soup was of the essence. The WorWonton soup was very tasty and just what the doctor ordered. Chinese food items at other tables seemed yummy too. This well-frequented restaurant seemed to offer a slice of prairie life and the owners made us feel right at home.
Alice handles everything herself, and her food is truly exceptional. She even offers catering services in Calgary, so I may just give her a call!
Alice and Gary are incredible! The food is top-notch and their service is impeccable.
If you like to meet people, sit at the bar in the lounge. Alice was great, we had alot of laugh's and fun with her. The Chop suey and ginger pork, was fantastic! Ivy :
Traveling from Calgary to Saskatoon and feeling hungry and in need of gas, we turned into the small town of Irricana. Before we even entered the community we knew we were going to like it. The drive from the highway into the town is beautifully landscaped and inviting. Main Street is welcoming and maintained. It is obvious the residents of this town take an unusual amount of pride in their community. Lunch at Irricana Family Restaurant was excellent and so friendly. After lunch we gassed up the truck, and had the same friendly encounter there. We Realy felt that after an hour there we had made a dozen new friends, including an RCMP member. Oh, and if you decide to stop in, best be able to drive with one hand, as everyone seems to wave when you meet them.
