Waffle House - Calera

My first time in Alabama, me and my wife had the chilli and it was delicious because I don't like nobody's chilli but my wife's she makes my recipe ???????

I went to this location at 9:30pm and the service was horrible. The waitress seems like she was overwhelmed and didn’t know what to do because it was 7 of us. We sat there for over 30 mins for her to seat us. New people were coming in seating themselves and were giving drink and coffee and she never ask us if we wanted anything. We then decide to leave. I will never go back to this location.

I usually don't go eat at Waffle House on my off days since I work there lol but everything else was closed due to the ice on the roads. I seen it was pretty busy for a second shift but I was still spoken to when I came in and my server Sarah(sorry if I spelled it wrong)wiped a table down for us to sit. She gave good food fast and friendly I can't complain.

I tried to give them a chance again...I sat there for 30 mins @4am) before my to go order wad taken. The cook didn't have a hair net on, pants hanging off his rear end, and I won't ever return. Terrible place.
