Redzone Grill - Calera

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. The staff was very attentive and helpful, especially when assisting my mother in her wheelchair. The bread and oil were particularly enjoyable. The Nonna's lasagna was a standout dish, with a unique southern twist that was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We sampled 5 different dishes from the menu and were impressed by all of them. Don't be fooled by the strip mall location - the atmosphere is cozy and upscale. This is definitely our top choice for delicious Italian food.

During a trip from Montgomery to Birmingham, my daughter and I stumbled upon Bertolones, a hidden gem. We initially went to the nearby Cracker Barrel for a quick meal, but we were thrilled to have discovered this place! The service was excellent and we started our meal with a delicious tomato basil soup. While I typically prefer smooth and creamy tomato soup, this one was surprisingly good with just the right amount of basil. For our main dishes, I had the Pesto Pizza and my daughter had spaghetti and meatballs. As a family with high standards for meatballs, we were both impressed with the quality of the ones at Bertolones. My pizza had sun-dried tomatoes and artichoke hearts, which had a fantastic crispy yet chewy texture. We also enjoyed tiramisu for dessert and took a slice of chocolate covered strawberry cake to go. As someone from an Italian family, I appreciate authentic Italian cuisine and Bertolones did not disappoint. Despite being a bit of a drive from home, we will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

The first time here and the food was phenomenal and our waitress was very friendly and nice. Excellent service. Will definitely come back when I get back through this part of Alabama. Thank you.

Wow! THIS is good Italian! The Minestrone soup was beanless, but, SUPER tasty! I could eat TONS of this. The kiddo ordered spaghetti with Bolognese. I ordered the Cannelloni. Wow! It was so delicious, I wanted to slow down savor it, but, also shovel it in as fast as I could! Then, as if we needed to be rolled out of there, we ordered cakes. Italian Creme Cake Cannoli cake! So rich, but, oh, SO good! Just found out new Italian place near Pelham! Worth the drive!
