Such an underrated winery, amazing location, people, and wine. It's unbelievable a whole 5 glass flight is only $8. On top of that, Arisbe, who took amazing care of us, gave us a full glass for celebrating my girlfriends birthday! Please go here if you want a sense of Italy, right at home. The entire area is just picturesque. View all feedback.
What Angela Hunter doesn't like about Koenig Vineyards:
The venue is beautiful. The service is not. The water that was served was full of sulfer and smelled of rotten eggs. The “snack/charcuterie” that we ordered came on a small paper plate with crackers in a bag, it was like a snack plate on a plane. For the price of $16 dollars it was a sad plate. The tasting was okay but very small amounts of wine. Definitely not enough to really determine if you like the wine. So many... View all feedback.
Koenig also runs a distillery, where they produce an amazing honey whiskey and my personal favorite, huckleberry vodka. Be sure to ask about their water source! If you're planning to indulge, definitely consider bringing a driver so you can relax and fully enjoy the experience.
Tucked away in a beautiful setting, Koenig is the pinnacle of excellence among the vineyards I've explored in the region. With welcoming hospitality, outstanding wines, and exquisite food pairings, this charming vineyard promises an unforgettable experience. It’s a must-visit for wine lovers and anyone looking for a delightful sensory experience.
This winery is incredibly underrated, featuring a fantastic location, friendly staff, and excellent wine. It's hard to believe that a five-glass flight costs only $8! To top it off, Arisbe, who provided us with exceptional service, offered us a full glass to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. If you're looking for a taste of Italy without leaving home, this is the place to go. The entire area is absolutely picturesque.
The venue is stunning, but the service leaves much to be desired. The water we were served was sulfurous and had a strong odor reminiscent of rotten eggs. We ordered a "snack/charcuterie" plate, which arrived on a small paper plate with pre-packaged crackers — it felt more like an airplane snack than a restaurant offering. For $16, it was quite disappointing. The wine tasting was decent, but the portions were so small that it was hard to judge whether you liked the wines. Many other wineries in the area offer a far superior experience.
The wine was of excellent quality, and the ambiance and view of the restaurant were outstanding. The highlight of our experience was Charlie, our server, who provided exceptional service to my wife and me. I highly recommend this place!
