Dutch Bros. - Caldwell

Dutch Bros is fantastic! Generally, they offer quick service and serve quality coffee. Their baristas are stationed outside to assist with ordering, which helps speed up the process. However, there’s a serious concern. It was 107 degrees outside, and they had their employees working in the sun with no shade. This is not only unreasonable but also alarming. The risk of heat stroke and fainting in such extreme temperatures is far too great to put your employees in that situation. I’m not impressed.

It’s disappointing that the drinks can vary in taste depending on who makes them. During my last visit, the staff were particularly rude. When I asked to speak to the manager, one employee seemed evasive and kept trying to direct me to someone else instead of providing the manager's name. I have spent a lot at this Dutch Bros, but I’ve decided to stop going there. It’s frustrating to tip before even tasting your drink, only to have a problem 90% of the time—unless you order something like a pre-made freeze or tea. Now it seems like the blame falls on the customers when things go wrong. I recommend withholding tips until you know your order is correct. Tips should be reserved for excellent service and correctly made drinks, not something that is assumed. It feels like Dutch Bros might have lost sight of this principle. I hope this feedback reaches the actual manager, as they may care enough to address these issues. It seems that the lead staff member is not fulfilling their responsibilities either.

This location of the chain was impressive in its willingness to clarify prices and went above and beyond to serve me my drinks. I don't usually visit Dutch Bros for coffee because I find it tends to be overly sweet, but that's just my personal preference, and I'm happy to overlook that for the excellent staff they have there.

I love Dutch Bros! I go there every single day. It doesn't matter which one that I go to in Canyon County, Ada County, or Payette County they're all spectacular. I especially like the people in caldwell. Always super nice and my order is always exactly what I ordered. Their prices are fair, service is great and it seems like they're always open. I would highly recommend Dutch Bros to anyone who likes coffee and the coffee buying experience!

Excellent customer service!! The line was moving a bit slow, but they brought our drinks out to the car and we were able to jump out of the line! My coffee and my Grandson's drink were both great!!
