Some of the friendliest people run this place, and the gelato?!?!? It's amazing. And the sweets?!?!? Frozen and fresh baked sweets. If you eat at a restaurant in Calasetta, I recommend you go here to pick up some deserts, or eat them on the benches under the awning outside. When I'm in Calasetta I go almost every day. Sweets! Italian sweets aren't my favorite, but Pinguino shines. This picture tells it all, plus they make their our gelato and it is perfetto!
I 'm sorry but Italian pastries just don 't cut it generally, EXCEPT here at Pinguino. They really do it RIGHT. DELICIOSO!
This ice cream is amazing by UK standards as you sadly can’t buy quality ice cream in UK. But by Italian standards it’s average the focus is on creaminess and sweetness rather than flavour and quality of ingredients. The gelato in Rome in cheaper and superior.
