Casandre - Calangute

Absolutely wonderful experience. Went there last evening and had the most lovely food made with pure love. It was my friends birthday and we had a quick bur happy evening .

Absolutely wonderful place. The food was great and service was quite fast. Had chicken kadhai and paneer tikka masala. A must try in Calangute.

Went out to sample some authentic Goan cuisine and walked into Casandre. Its a small house turned into a cozy restaurant which served one of the best xacuti and vindaloos i have ever eaten.<br/ <br/ The fabled vindaloo was so spicy that I, who for the record have a very high threshold for spice, was left in tears! Sadly, they didn’t have Bibinca so we had ice cream and matka kulfi for dessert.<br/ <br/ Brilliant food and very cozy.<br/ <br/ Best,<br/ The Wandering Epicurean

Really good food! Service is slightly slow but it doesn't matter once the food arrives. The ambience and vibes are really good. All 3 meals of the day are very tasty

A really calm chill place near the Calangute beach that serves an array of authentic Goan dishes. <br/ The interiors give that typical Goan vibe. They have an accessible pool table a wooden dart board! <br/ <br/ We were slightly disappointed with the Sangria we ordered as the wine was really strong didn't go well but later on they changed it. <br/ <br/ We ordered the rava fried squid which was amazing! It was cooked to perfection. <br/ <br/ Also ordered Xucati which is basically prawns curry with rice. Do opt for Goan rice as it just goes along really well. <br/ You have options of chicken, prawns crabs as your meat. <br/ <br/ Definitely visit this place for an amazing taste of Goan food!
