What Gorjes Fam likes about Sushi Nishi:
Really good sushi. You can always get a table in or outside. Service is good, variety is good, some unique things to order. All and all a good easy place to get good sushi. View all feedback.
What Danielle Smith doesn't like about Sushi Nishi:
This is the absolute worst strip mall sushi you could possibly get in California. The rock shrimp was literally fried pieces of nothing it was literally comical. The yellowtail was super thick cut and fishy and the vibe was so bad. It's literally in a strip mall and about 8 tables total. The servers were friendly and food came out quick. View all feedback.

read moreNestled in the heart of Calabasas, this restaurant evokes polarizing opinions. Diners commend the fresh, flavorful sushi and attentive service, highlighting standout dishes like the Calabasas Roll and crispy rice tuna. However, others have expressed disappointment over poor food quality, notably in overly sweet and salty dishes. Service experiences also vary, with some encountering unwelcoming waitstaff and minimal interaction. While many praise the welcoming atmosphere and vibrant flavors, others urge caution, warning of uneven culinary execution. Ultimately, this restaurant embodies the age-old adage: one diner’s delight might be another’s disappointment.
The sushi at this restaurant is of good quality for the area. While the rolls are smaller in size and prices are on the higher side, they are still satisfying.

read moreThe restaurant has excellent food and service at a fantastic price. I would rate the food 5 out of 5 stars.
The sashimi was not fresh. The waitress was quite rude and seemed irritated by any questions we had.
The Hibachi beef dish was disappointing as it contained very little beef, with small pieces that did not justify the $30 price tag. It was not worth it.
