Was Anonym at Man:do a mag?
I have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. It isn't the cheapest eat in cairns, but it's fresh, clean great food and I would recommend a visit. You can sit inside or outside. Enjoy! View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Man:do:
When a restaurant says "homemade noodles you expect exactly that. There is only one homemade item on the menu and that is the mando(dumplings). The rest is a boring bland soups and rice. Small portions, glass noodles and inspiring vegetables. The prices are too high...for low quality. View all feedback.

We discovered this place when we went to the adjacent well known Japanese ramen place Ganbaranba. The Korean dumplings intrigued us, so we came the following day. This is the same location as the Mando on “46 lake st”. Not sure why there are two addresses, because the entrance is really on Spence st. The menu is simple, but with a good enough variety. It doesn’t contain the classic Korean dishes you may be use to (bibimpap, japchae glass noodle stir fry, seafood pancake, etc.) However, it does contain other dishes that are worth trying. There are a few stir fry’s with your choice of starch (udon, rice vermicelli, rice). They tend to put some chopped cabbage with a heavy dose of mayonnaise on it. I would recommend putting it on the side to avoid overwhelming the actual dish. They have soups called Kal-gu-ksu with handmade noodles which were new to me. I chose the kimchi flavor which was very surprising! Flavorful and mild-moderately spicy. It’s not strong, but it’s a big bowl which you might get tired of if you’re not a spice fan.The mando combination contained the vegetarian, kimchi and beef/pork flavors (all steamed). Unfortunately there were no shrimp dumplings left. If we had to choose again, we would pick the pan fried version of the beef/pork dumpling and the steamed kimchi option only. Vegetarian was bland.Very small place, as you can tell by the pictures. But there are additional tables outside. Might be hard for the waitress to see you though.Another important detail: there are no toilets inside the restaurant. You would have to go to the Orchid plaza. Wasn’t a deal breaker, but it did surprise us.Prices are fair, in range of fellow Asian joints. Portions are good.We would be happy to come back.

It is a best Korea restaurant in cairns, especially volcano was really amazing!! I strongly recommend here

This charming little Korean restaurant is fantastic! The fried chicken was delicious. The "death by spicy" heat level definitely made me break a sweat, but I survived! The sweet and spicy chicken was just perfect. Thank you for the dumplings!

This is a wonderful little gem in Cairns! The Korean food is fantastic and very affordable! The spicy chicken and kimchi mando were both delicious! I would definitely come back here again!
