The staff is attentive and accommodating, though some could benefit from more training. The ambience is lovely, and while the prices are slightly higher than expected, the quality is worth it. Favorites include scallop special, seafood linguini, and "death by chocolate" dessert. With a broad selection of Italian and local beers, as well as delightful cocktails like French Martini, this restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience. Don't miss out on the Seafood Ravioli or Linguine Gamberi. Highly recommended!.

Had a great dinner with lovely staff. Evita took great care of us. The bugs and gnocchi were out of this world as were the desserts. All in all a great meal in a super atmosphere.
My family and I have been to Bellocale numerous of times and every time we have loved it. The food, the people, the service, every thing is amazing. We ordered many dishes and every single dish tasted divine. Not only do the savoury dishes taste good but the desserts do as well. The service was amazing. The owners and waiters took care of us and have taken care of us every time we have dined at Bellocale. Overall the restaurant has delicious food, incredible service and amazing owners! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat whether its with family, by yourself, etc.
If you want the best freshest fish in town I thoroughly recommend you dine at Bellocale. Last night I really enjoyed deep water Flame Snapper cooked superbly by chef James. You could not find a better piece of fish in Cairns. Absolutely delicious
I love coming to bellocale for my pasta cravings, enjoy a glass (or two) of great wine then indulge in some really delicious desserts with great presentation. The Owners a previous head chef from Sydney and with his lovely wife by his side make a great team and great place to dine
