Nice little cafe with a couple of vegan options. Very generous portion in the Morning Glory breakfast and everything is tasty, but it does seem like a plate of vegetables rather than a meal just needs some protein and herbs to tie it together perhaps? Would go again though and try the coconut yoghurt and fresh fruit with muesli which looks great. Good coffee too.
Really nice atmosphere at this café. The vegan morning glory is the closest thing I've had to a big brekky in years. It was so satisfying and tasty. A big pile of mushrooms, which is grouse cause I love mushrooms. The only improvement I can think of is if they had some home-made baked beans. The coffee was nothing special. I expected something amazing but it was the usual burnt bean water with scanty crema.
The atmosphere was very nice and the food quite good. I had the Vegan Morning Glory which was enough to share for a light meal. The veg was very nicely seasoned. Service was not great our server wasn 't very knowledgeable about either what vegan meant or about the menu. She was also slow and a bit scatterbrained. When asking questions about the menu she indicated that they could remove the tofu from one dish since tofu isn 't vegan, and that they could replace it with halloumi cheese. At this point, I explained that vegan means nothing from animals, so no dairy, and three tofu should be okay. She got a bit defensive and said that she knew vegan meant no dairy. Ultimately, they have 2 good vegan options on their small menu the Morning Glory veganized, and the Sushi Bowl.
Went for brunch there and had the vegan morning glory. It was delicious and everything was extremely flavourful. They also offer a selection of nut milks to have in your coffee which tastes amazing.
