Really nice people, white bbq and sweet bbq sauces were the ones I tried, delicious. Shared a large brisket platter, and the potato salad was amazing—and I’m not usually a potato salad person. Ordered a premium side of Jalapeño Mac Bites it tasted like a jalapeño popper mixed with extra creamy noodles. Absolutely amazing, I 100% recommend them. If you’re staying at the RV Parque, there’s a little discount.

I decided to give this restaurant a try after reading a review from a couple from Texas. They were curious about dining here, and afterward, the man, originally from Dallas, declared it was the best brisket he had ever tasted, even joking that his friends back home would be shocked. I can understand why they might feel that way, but personally, I wouldn't go as far as to call it the best brisket I've ever had. It's decent, but you'll need a knife to cut through it, and it seems slightly overcooked. It definitely doesn’t compare to the standards set by Aaron Franklin or Tim Izidowski. That being said, I recognize that St. Louis isn't particularly known for its brisket, and since this restaurant is technically in Illinois, it could very well be the best brisket south of I-70, north of the Mason-Dixon line, east of the Mississippi, and west of Effingham. Who knows? As for the mac and cheese bites, they taste like something you'd find in the frozen food aisle at Kroger.

We had an incredible experience! The ribs were exceptionally tender and flavorful, so much so that we didn't even use the sauce on the side. The onion rings were outstanding, featuring a perfectly crispy coating with a touch of sweetness. The potato salad was extraordinary, almost tasting like it had cream cheese blended in. Even the toasted bread was remarkable. The service was fantastic as well; you'll enter as a guest and leave as a friend. Don't miss this place—it's truly the best!
