Description

Recently stayed at a hotel, found it nice and comfortable. Check-in was pleasant, with informative staff and private parking. Breakfast was lacking for the price, but overall, the restaurant had decent dishes. The rooms are fantastic, with breakfast served within. The restaurant offers delicious shellfish bisque and fish. A group had an excellent dinner with great specials and 5-star service. The restaurant is a gem in Kells, offering attentive service and wonderful food. Popular for its seafood, especially the tuna and prawns. Q&C is highly recommended for its accommodations, food, and ambiance. Skellig's best place to stay.

The food was delicious. The service wasn't very attentive. The hostess was mainly occupied with the locals.

The Q&C hosted our family for our daughter's destination wedding at the nearby castle as well as hosting the reception. From the rooms to the food we couldn't have had a better experience. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

My friend and I stayed here on a Ring of Kerry booked tour, and we both agreed that this was one of our favorite spots. It 's not the most ultra luxurious in some ways, but it hit all of the right notes for us clean, charming, a lovely property, but most of all, superb staff and the MOST delicious food. The owner comes from a family that fishes and her brother owns the fresh fish shop across the way hence, the freshest seafood I had in Ireland. The mussels were so good we had to order a second plate. The food is not limited to the restaurant: the morning breakfast supplied to each room involves fresh croissant and pain aux raisins brought to your door, the most sumptuous yoghurt and rhubarb compote in the fridge (I ate both), smoked salmon and a lovely brie cheese. In short, nothing was lacking and the place had the most charm and care of anywhere we went. Would definitely go back.

We went for dinner and waited just a couple of minutes to get a table, but it was totally worth it. The food was delicious and you could really taste the quality in every dish. Prices were very fair, and the drinks were great value, especially for Ireland. Definitely a place we’ll come back to!
