Il Bambu - Cagliari

Staying in the area and we were recommended this place for dinner... not disappointed as the pizza was fabulous (as was the caprese salad we started with). This is a great neighborhood restaurant and was full of locals enjoying a Sunday night pizza together. Great value too.

We loved this place. Delicious food, and not just pizza the antipasti, salads, and dessert were all amazing. Not to mention the lemoncello!! Great value for money. Really welcoming hosts, who didn't speak any English but this was in no way a problem. We even saw him in the market buying his produce for the day, which was lovely! We highly recommend.

Our meal at II Bambu was very memorable. The food is local, fresh, simple and beautifully presented. The melon and prosciutto were heavenly, and the tomatoes the best we tasted. They serve homemade house red wine, cold which was light and delicious. The service is excellent. The owners greeted us like friends on our return a week later!

A lovely, friendly pizzeria that serves fab pizzas at a price that would make British pizza places blush! Try their pasta alla vongole too, best I've ever had!

This was very handy for our stay at the Anania.It also does a takeaway service and the freshly cooked pizzas are inexpensive and tasty
