Complete waste of time. After a 200 mile drive and less than 2 miles to go, why not get a Chinese, right? Superb if you don’t mind waking into a place with NO PRICES ON DISPLAY. I’d forgiven the 3 star hygiene rating but the final straw was “cash only”!! When asking the price of things the lady had to put it into the register to tell me…! After wasting my time making the detour, after all that fuss they don’t even take card payment, cash only! This business has been here since the 1980s. I expect better. This has been my first and final visit. How is this place still ins business.
I will never go back to this restaurant again. My food was extremely greasy and I waited outside for 45 minutes after calling in my order. Overall, I waited nearly 2 hours for my food. Learn from my mistake and avoid this place in the future.
We were extremely disappointed with our dining experience tonight. Two out of the three meals we ordered were incorrect, and the chips we requested were missing. Despite understanding that mistakes happen, we went back to pick up the corrected order only to be rudely asked to pay extra for the chips that were missing. The pancake roll we received was of very poor quality, appearing half-eaten or as if a cat had gotten to it before it was packaged, and was overly greasy. When we called to complain, we were met with more rudeness. We will not be ordering from this restaurant again.
We ordered a takeaway from Wong’s last night who said that 45 min wait for delivery after an hour we rang to ask where it was they said they were waiting for drive to come back be next delivery after various phone calls and it got to 2hours of waiting I rang and told them not to bother it was far to late then someone rings me to Ask again for my post code And said good is hot I told them I had cancelled the order order friends were going home spoilt our evening won’t be going back there
Going back 10 years ago songs was the best and busiest Chinese in Blackwood. Then like all places the chef leaves or the place changes hands. In the case of songs we as regular customers noticed straight away a huge difference in the taste of the food. (Now poor) we have tried on the rare time since to see if the food has recovered but sadly no. It's ashame to see the place quiet but when you cut corners and the food becomes cheap, reformed meat and not home made, what do they expect
