We had a fantastic Sunday dinner at The Angel in Maesycwmmer. The food was delicious, with all elements of the meal cooked perfectly. There was plenty of variety on the plate and the portions were very generous. Our group of seven all cleaned our plates and although we were full, we couldn't resist getting dessert to go. Highly recommend The Angel for a great dining experience.
We stopped by for Sunday lunch with my wife and 92-year-old mother-in-law. The staff was extremely friendly, polite, and couldn't have been nicer. The food was fantastic and definitely worth the visit. We will definitely be back again soon.
I will never return to that restaurant. I got food poisoning and ended up throwing up all the way home.

Amazing food, well presented, staff were friendly and very helpful, best Sunday lunch I've ever had, the food was fresh and very tasty, great atmosphere, most of the customer seemed to know each other, I will definitely be returning, the Christmas Day menu is very traditional.
