The food never arrived. I contacted Deliveroo, who believed it had been delivered, but I explained that it had not. Deliveroo could not get a response from the fish bar. I am still waiting for a refund. The fish bar apparently rejected my order. If they could not deliver to me, why did they appear as an option for my area? No one contacted me to inform me. I only found out when I called an hour and a half later to ask about my food, and was told that my order had been rejected. I am extremely disappointed.
After waiting an hour and paying for delivery, we received a completely different order. My wife had ordered a special chicken kebab and I had ordered a dinner. Instead, she received regular chicken kebab meat on chips, which she promptly threw away. I received a minimal amount of dinner meat (barely enough to fit on one fork) along with chips and salad. I ended up throwing away 90% of my meal. This experience left us feeling cheated and ruined our evening. Based on the recurring issues mentioned in other reviews, we have decided to never use this restaurant again.
I went to Newbridge Fish Bar today and ordered 2 jumbo sausages in batter and 1 portion of chips. I specifically told the person working behind the counter twice that I wanted sausage in batter. However, when I got home, I discovered that she had served regular sausages instead. When I called to complain, she told me that they were the same price so it didn't matter. The chips were cold and the curry was watery and also cold. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
Don’t bother, the taste on the chips were disgusting . We couldn’t eat any of them . Don’t waste your money .
The facility is very clean. The staff very friendly and helpful. Amazing customer services. The the fish and chips tasted amazing. And the chips were fried to perfection. I travel around many fast food restaurants for my job and I can clearly say it's a 10/10
