Was Anonym at Glanmor's a mag?
Located on a street lined with several shops, this restaurant was a pleasant stop during our stroll around Caerphilly, home to Wales' largest castle and a prominent statue of Tommy Cooper. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Glanmor's:
It has a few useful shops such as game, pound Land, boots, WHSmiths along with a few others but there are also some that hardly get any interest. Its a shame as there used to be a couple nice independent Welsh Coffee shops which are now gone. There is The Gate House which is great for lunch, and a standard Costa but they are the only two places you can go in and eat/drink. Nothing really stands out and is mostly for... View all feedback.

Situated opposite the castle, this bakery has an excellent range and delicious Welsh cakes. We visited a few times on our recent visit to the area. Probably the best part (other than the food and the lovely aroma) was the staff; friendly, helpful and focused on a great customer experience. It's not often I review a shop (usually review locations, restaurants, hotels etc) but on our visit to the Cardiff area, this place really stood out. Well done! Definitely visiting again on our next trip (our daughter lives in Cardiff so likely to be visiting again regularly).
