It took just 45mins for it to be delivered (Blackwood), and the food was all fresh and piping hot. One of the best Indians I’ve had for a VERY long time. Kudos!

M... read more Whenever I am out and about for business trips especially in Newport, Bayleaf is my first choice. Friendly staff and serve freshly made mouth watering dishes. My favorite is the Lamb Tikka Jalfrezi and I just love how they prepare it. They take a little longer to prepare but I don't mind because I know good food takes time. I would highly recommend this place if you want to try authentic curry dishes.

After hearing about Bayleaf's recent curry award, I decided to give them a chance. I am so glad that I did. The curries were much more enjoyable than what we usually get from our go-to curry spot, with a significant difference in flavor depth. The coconut rice was delicate and light, and the naan bread was made perfectly. We have discovered our new favorite curry restaurant. Thank you, Bayleaf.

The restaurant gave me a call to confirm my order, and informed me that the curry was quite spicy. I mentioned that it was for my 11-year-old, and they kindly adjusted the recipe to make it milder for her. The service was excellent, thank you!

Every dish we've tried since we started coming here in February 2022 has been fantastic. One of the perks of using their online ordering system is being able to customize curry dishes with extra chili, garlic, or half Madras, making each dish feel more personalized. Shah and his team always take great care of us. I can't recommend Bayleaf enough!

I wanted something a bit different from the usual offering and was suggested a 'murgi saag achar ' (chicken green tikka) chicken tikka, chilli, onions, garlic, pickle, spinach with a side of garlic rice and Bombay aloo. The first thing I 'd like to compliment The Bayleaf on, is the staff are so friendly and inviting when you arrive and the kitchen is open plan and spotless... In between orders the chefs are cleaning down the surfaces and tidying things away to an impressive pace. The food is cooked perfectly, fresh vegetables, expertly spiced, tender tandoori chicken and fluffy garlic rice, all served piping hot! This is most definitely one of my favourite go to Currie house 's at the moment
