the food was tasty and served quickly without pressure to leave the table after the coffee! if they wanted more bread or chips/french fries, everything they had to do was to keep the empty bowl. View all feedback.
What Anne Joubert doesn't like about Restaurant de l'Otelinn:
The restaurant is inside the hotel. You can drive to the hotel and find a car park there. The service is good. The food was okay. It was fast as well. I ordered medium rare steak but it was overcooked and i barely taste the...beef as the bitter taste from the burnt meat is too strong. My wife ordered the fish but they didnt take out the scale This restaurant is the closest to the museum however there are another rest... View all feedback.
An impeccable setting and good service, the correct main dish, but really not terrible desserts, a fruit salad has 6,50€ tiny that has no taste, and a gourmet coffee that does not reflect the desserts of the card, damage! all for a much too high addition. very bad value for money.
The food was good and served quickly without pressure to leave the table after the coffee! If you wanted more bread or fries/frites, you could just hold the empty bowl.
We were very disappointed with the quality. the card seemingly appealing and indicating that the chef was working fresh quality products, I opted for a roasted st of citrus fruit at 20.50€ and my husband for the salad of the moment. We were served in 10 minutes (to roast a st of stone? He's a magician! . to the tasting, I see that the fish is very dry, insipid. As a citrus, I have a slice of lemon, a slice of grapefruit and a slice of roughly cut orange, not at all cooked, simply put on the fish. The fish is really not good, it seems to have been frozen, boiled, short I can't eat it! I still have a little risotto (very good) and then brooms and ratatouille (then, sorry but I don't see the report too much, or the interest of mixing its 2 flavors?) with respect to the salad, the positive point is that the vinaigrette is home, but otherwise it's just a plate with lots of raw foods laid in bulk: Brief, nothing transcendent for a salad at 15€! I said my disappointment to the waitress (very pleasant and very smiling) but no particular reaction, just "it's always good to report it" ... in summary, this dinner doesn't leave us an unforgettable memory except for the invoice.
Suite has a gifted wonderbox box we stayed a weekend in this hotel in Caen periphery. The place is nice and quiet and the friendly welcome. Little dejeuner correct and copyy. The swimming pool is a little more to be heard in the evening. The only bemol is that the rooms are a little small. for a 3 stars and the view on the roofs of the hotel really not terrible..This says for one or 2 nights it is not too bad.
I stayed before and as a restaurant on site, very good quality, excellent service and good location
