English spoken by some wa... read more Located right in the centre of Caen, with inside seating on 2 floors, plus outside under a canopy. Pleasant and characterful interior. English spoken by some waiters, and English menu available also. A wide range of French dishes are on the menu, and a very good range of wines. The plat de jour is good value. However we enjoyed the duck with honey main, café gormand and an excellent Cahors red. The duck was cooked very well. Service was efficent and friendly. We thought the meal was decent value.

Surprisingly good range of... read more Was previously known as Cafe Latin, but hasn't changed its philosophy of good, simple food brought quickly and with cheerful service. Surprisingly good range of wines typified by an excellent malbec from Cahors, at a very reasonable price. We always make time to have lunch there on our trips to Normandy.
