La Buena Tavola - Caen

Both pizza and pasta were great. My friends chose vegetarian options and enjoyed the meal a lot. It’s very highly rated online and on Uber eats and it’s a damn good bet to choose for a meal. Though we didn’t dine in but I am sure it will be even better if you go with that option.

Although France is known for its world-famous cuisine and specialities, a visit to La Buona Tavola in the center of Caen is definitely worth it. We enjoyed a delicious lunch here and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The pizzas were crispy and richly topped, the pastas perfectly al dente, and the carpaccio was fresh and tasty. The burrata was truly magnificent, creamy and perfectly flavoured. The atmosphere and interior of the restaurant were very cozy and modern. The decor is trendy, with a fresh and contemporary look that contributes to a pleasant dining experience. It felt like we were in Italy, in the middle of France. La Buona Tavola is recommended for anyone who enjoys authentic Italian dishes in a stylish setting. The restaurant is pleasant, the staff welcoming, and the food delicious. All the pizzas are excellent, I recently tried the shrimp risotto which was also incredible. I could have removed a star because it's a little expensive but the quality is there so it's reasonable.

Très bonnes pizzas, sans être les meilleures que j’ai mangées pour autant. Le restaurant est très sympa et les serveurs.es disponibles. Bon rapport qualité/prix.

Restaurant dans un cadre sympathique. Concernant la nourriture mitigé, beaucoup trop de pâte sur la calzone. Le jambon était de bonne qualité, mais 14€ pour une calzone (jambon fromage aubergine) cela fait cher. Je vous conseille de prendre une pizza !
