They took my day off with a surprise birthday cake and very nice birthday atmosphere, lights and birthday song. It was really great and heart melting night in the Bistro Regent .

The portions are gene... read more Lunch when we arrived in Caen because it was open on Sunday. The food was delicious. We just ordered a meal and shared it. So glad we did. The portions are generous. The duck was the best duck I ever had. They serve all the main dishes with a huge part of the french fries and a huge bowl of green salad all excellent. Didn't have enough space for the desert.

Servers are very nice and available. 2 negative points however, but one finds in all the restaurants of this sign, it is the fact that there are very few choices of dishes (Warning no vegetarian dishes! and all the extras (desserts, drinks etc... are quite expensive, count 6€/6.50€ for a small ice cream. In general, it is a place to go once in a while, if you want to eat good for cheap
