Had a great opportunity to spend 12 days in cadiz, where o’donoghue’s pub helped to be really great these days. most of the evenings there, enjoy the positive a... read more Had a great opportunity to spend 12 days in cadiz, where o’donoghue’s pub helped to be really great these days. most of the evenings there, enjoy the positive atmosphere and a beautiful selection of single malt (scottish though whiskys. bartenders were helpful with all efforts to communicate in English. in general the people were positiw and overall mood was friendly and welcoming. a recommendation of an experienced bar visitor:

Although an irish bar English rock music plays, the bar staff of o’connell speak very little English together with any other institution in the old town cadiz.... read more Although an irish bar English rock music plays, the bar staff of o’connell speak very little English together with any other institution in the old town cadiz. but their hospitality is excellent! they are all helpful and friendly and had time for all their customers, even teach Spanish to English, because he wanted to know how to order his drinks on Spanish. we spent a week in the old town cadiz visit every plaza and so many restaurants, caffes and bars like breakfast, lunch and dinner would be us in 5 days. we always went to o’connells for our last drink in the evening. the atmosphere in o’connell’s was always good from the beginning if the bar was really busy. it attracted young and older local as well as young and older tourists. we loved it because it was still typical of cadiz. calmed, with a harmonious buzz covered. they also have a good gin collection
