We had tiger prawns and also a mixed salad to start. It was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant especially for fish. The waiters let us practice our Spanish which was an added bonus. The only complaint was that there was no hard copy menu. You had to scan a bar code to get the menu up on your iPhone. One table of four left the restaurant because they didn’t like not having a menu. Apart from that it was excellent.

We were lucky enough to get an outside table on the street which is filled with lots of other restaurants and bars. The atmosphere was good and we were well looked after by the indomitable Pepe. We decided to order some of the aforementioned tuna. It was absolutely delicious and incredibly tender. Washed down by local wine and followed by the house cheesecake it made for a lovely meal. Only wished we’d had the opportunity to try other things on the menu. We will return when we are next in Cadiz.
