We kind of bumbled into dockside inn when the restaurant we had chosen for dinner had an hour wait time due to homecoming. It?s very modern on the inside, giving you an urban, swanky feel yet at the same time showing off the Lake Cadillac views. The menu had a decent variety to choose from. The food was very fresh and delicious. The view was lovely and the weather was still nice. We regretted not asking to sit on the... View all feedback.
What Greg P doesn't like about Dockside Inn:
One of the worst dining experiences my wife and I have had. On our anniversary we made reservations so we could have a nice table and had to wait one hour and 20 minutes for our food. We waited one hour for the salad to be served and when our food came The medium rare fillet was well done and the pasta was hard as a rock. All the manager said was, I?m sorry, he disappeared for 15 minutes and there was no compensation... View all feedback.
This restaurant was really good. Great food for a good price. The hostesses were amazing at finding us a seat outside. The service was amazing. 10/10 recommend.
This restaurant used to be packed on a Saturday evening but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. Location is great and the food is delicious. However the female hostess is extremely rude and they are consistently out of food and/or drinks each time we visit.
I ordered a lemonade from the menu. Waitress said we're out of lemonade. I ordered salmon. She said sorry we're out of salmon. I asked about the swordfish. Sorry out.Oh ok, What do you have that's gluten free? She recommends the crab stuffed walleye.I say ok I'll try it. Really wanted the salmon ..I asked for the house salad with NO croutons .again.. gluten free please. We also ordered appetizers.Hour goes by no food. Waitress comes back said oops they gave our food to someone else.they'll start it over. She brings out the walleye and it had the skin onfloating in waterCovered with a weird sauce. NOT stuffed with crab or stuffed with anything. It seemed to be microwaved??It was soggy and slimy. It was the grossest thing I've ever seen or tried to eat.My husband couldn't even eat it and he likes most things. It was so gross. $105.00 bill , got nothing we wanted and the food we did get was not edible. On top of that they put croutons on my salad! At the end of everything we were just going to leave when the table who came after us ...a man says to his table mate... How's your salmon?Like the salmon they said they were out of?!How did they get salmon but we got microwaved wet fish skin in sauce??!Gordon Ramsey needs to visit y'all
Wonderful restaurant! We ate at Dockside for the first time on a Thursday night and loved it so much we went back the next night. The service was great both nights, and the food is exceptional. The first night we were able to sit in the patio near the lake, and the second night it was raining so we sat inside. Outside was great, but it's really pretty inside as well and we got to see a double rainbow off the lake after the rain. We will be coming back again!
