Overall, our group had several good experiences with these folks over several days, as customers of several aspects pf the business. We rented boats, we ate their food and ice cream, we got some advice and training as well. The food was great! The rhubarb cherry jam is excellent. Fresh baked breads. Meal prepared as you wait. Good value breakfast. Good ice cream. We got consistently excellent service from both employees, any time of day, any issues. The bathroom is clean, although you can be seen doing your business from outside since there is no curtain and only the bottom half of the bathroom wind has film. Only concern was about safety when renting boats. Inexperienced boat drivers were not provided any real training about boating rules, laws, boat operation, or general safety (but is this responsibility really on the marina, the driver, or both? . The controls on the boat were not reviewed and this caused the inexperienced boat driver to accidentally lift the engine out of the water and run it mostly dry for the duration of the rental, the propeller only a couple inches into the water only noticed end of day. This caused more gas to be used (more pollution , added more wear to the engine, and made for a slower and much louder ride. We had a great experience at Cheryl 's such that we kept going back each day. It was the friendliest and most reliable place we could find. We even gave up a free breakfast to go spend money on breakfast with Cheryl. Good vibes all around... The water cups say Love is Love , which was a special treat. It was special because it let us know that Cheryl and team care more than most people about others, that they have had special and important life experiences that remind them what so many have forgotten, that Love is what binds us all. Simple reminders like this can tell us a lot about others and their past. While here it may sound cheesy, it mattered to me to know that Cheryl and G. have open minds and the goal of reminding others what 's important. Thanks C G, back at you.
