We were looking for a place to eat bbb in every place and we found this pizza place by chance. very close treatment, very fast service and delicious pizzas, very fine but large size and good price. also, for lovers of Italian, have the mota that is not always found View all feedback.
What PAUL S doesn't like about Pizzeria Plaza:
It was like dining on the set of Fawlty Towers. The waiting staff walked up, stopped and walked back again. Several times! it was quite entertaining. Only I was hungry. Yet there were many happy regulars greeting each other. A bad night perhaps? The food was not bad. I had tuna which was cut thin. Price was good. View all feedback.
Wife and I stumbled into Pizzeria Plaza after a long day of travel, and returned every night that we stayed in Cadagues. when we were there in december, it seemed that most of the guests were locals. food was great.. loved the mussels, bread with sardines, pizza, calzone, pasta . try the catalonia cream for desert we consider ourselves foodies , and would go to Pizzeria Plaza if it was in NYC
As we had not yet adjusted to Spanish dinner times we looked for a place to eat at..... 1930 p.m., being very hungry and, admittedly, were not in the mood for experiments. We found this place, conveniently located, on the main drag/promenade with a reasonable menu which did not disappoint. While not sure you want to go here for highly authentic Cadaques food, it certainly did the job of feeding us at this, for the locals, odd hour. The service was fine, and I can see that later at night it will have a nice atmosphere when there are more people. For families with small kids this should be a good place to feed the hungry mouths.
We ate here mainly because of their Italian menu options. Having a shellfish allergy while on the Mediterranean can make restaurant options limited. I chose the homemade lasagna with meat, and my wife had the grilled chicken breast with a salad. My meal was excellent, tasty and tender. My wife enjoyed her chicken, but the salad was mostly greens, with a scant few pieces of red and green peppers thrown in. With a couple of drinks the bill was €40.00. A pricey lunch, but it is on the waterfront in Cadaques.
Pizzeria highly recommended. succulent and variety clamps. very reasonable prices.
A good place to enjoy a homemade pizza. good deal and very fast
