It’s still owned by the same f... read more My husband brought me to eat here on the strength of how good it was in the 1970s. I’m pleased to say that it is still very good. It’s still owned by the same family. Very simply furnished, it’s like being entertained in someone’s own dining room, which indeed it was fifty years ago. There are only about a dozen tables which are looked after by one friendly waitress. We both went for a fish parillada and it was fantastic. A generous serving of fresh fish and seafood, cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!

We were greeted very warmly, even though we do not speak Spanish We had the menu and couldn't speak highly enough. It is not Michelin star but it is good authentic catalanian food. The servings were very generous. The choice of 4 entrees was varied as were the 4 mains. There were several desserts to choose from. You also receive a basket of good bread and a choice of drinks. We had wine, a half litre of house wine for 2. All included in the 30 Euro pp price. An excellent experience.

Never had steamed mussels before (always in wine etc) so wasn’t sure but these were massive mussels that tasted divine. We followed it with the black rice paella outstanding! The crema catalana was fine. We ordered a bottle of wine before we decided on the Menu Del Dia, The owner insisted on crediting us with the cost of the inclusive wine. Total bill came to 74 euros.
