Tried set dinner for 30 Euro. Very disappointing, seafood soup with no seafood!!. Rude staff who failed to engage with customers. Avoid, there are many better places at a similar price

My husband brought me to eat here on the strength of how good it was in the 1970s. I’m pleased to say that it is still very good. It’s still owned by the same family. Very simply furnished, it’s like being entertained in someone’s own dining room, which indeed it was fifty years ago. There are only about a dozen tables which are looked after by one friendly waitress. We both went for a fish parillada and it was fantastic. A generous serving of fresh fish and seafood, cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!

Eat at leaat one meal there every year. The Paellas are as real as they get, the grilled sardines are as well. The owner reminds me of Elaine in NYC, but the food is a heck of a lot bette.

Not sure what Mr Bourne did to write such a disparaging review. We had a fantastic experience here. We were greeted very warmly, even though we do not speak Spanish We had the menu and couldn't speak highly enough. It is not Michelin star but it is good authentic catalanian food. The servings were very generous. The choice of 4 entrees was varied as were the 4 mains. There were several desserts to choose from. You also receive a basket of good bread and a choice of drinks. We had wine, a half litre of house wine for 2. All included in the 30 Euro pp price. An excellent experience.

Best Paella Had the Menu del Dia 28 Euros for three courses including a glass of wine and bread. Absolutely fabulous. Never had steamed mussels before (always in wine etc) so wasn’t sure but these were massive mussels that tasted divine. We followed it with the black rice paella outstanding! The crema catalana was fine. We ordered a bottle of wine before we decided on the Menu Del Dia, The owner insisted on crediting us with the cost of the inclusive wine. Total bill came to 74 euros. Stonking value for money. [hidden link]
