Did they have to charge us for water? and this was the f... read more Nice ambience inside but my prawns in garlic oil was tepid. A bottle of house white was 15€ and watery. Did they have to charge us for water? and this was the first place we have been charged for ketchup!!!! We won’t be back. There is better in this village.

Terrible service, no concept of value for money, and really below average food.

As we are back in town today we found the same place and we... read more We are here 20th September 2016. I know as I have a photo taken here on my travel blog for that day. As we are back in town today we found the same place and went in for lunch and it was just as good as we rememberd. The service was fast and very friendly, prices fine and the food was totally yummy. Thank you. We will return again next time we are in Cadaques even if it is in another 6 years

Then the hot food... read more It started with a nice, but very pushy hostess at the entrance as of she was paid to get is in at all costs. It gave me a bad feeling already. Then the hot food was served quicker than the salad and it was hot in top and cold at the bottom. A typical microwave heat. Next dish the same and l asked to see cook in the kitchen. They wouldn’t let me. So then you know enough. we were seven: All served frozen, all fried. Frozen fish, poor quality of frozen and re-heated meat that as a butcher l didn’t even touch. So very sorry that this time it was not a good review.

Menus were explained and it all arrived in the right order with nice time between each course. The food was fine despite other comments and I’d be quite happy to eat there again. Price for two was reasonable considering the location very near to the seafront.
