The girl clearing the plates/glasses was charming but the waitress taking the orders obviously did want us or her to be there. Don’t be tempted by the view. There are many better choices in Cadaques.

Then they asked us very straight to leave the table, because of an other reservation. Very disappointing and not polite. Next time in Cadaques we will spend our money somewhere else. Incredible…

Plus on the menu, you clearly have the choice betw... read more Honestly: 13 euros for a tapas dish that consists of 5 poor little shrimps and some burnt garlic is just sad. Plus on the menu, you clearly have the choice between prawn- for 13€ and shrimp- for about 4€ I ordered the Prawns and got the shrimps, and payed the prawns.

They quality tapas and the serv... read more Bar L 'Estable is a great place to enjoy some tapas and a few glasses of tinto de verano or a a beer during the day or at night. They quality tapas and the service is always friendly and quick. We went here several times and the last time we were in Cadaques we also came here several times and what we like about a place is it has not changed and the quality of food and service is the same as last time several years ago.... Great!!!!. The gules ous baby eels with the quail egg is such a nice dish to share with you friends or your partner and who doesn 't like patas bravas which are done to perfection. Will continue to go here every time we go to Cadaques.

I asked if the spot was available and he immediately... read more I wanted to eat some dinner with my wife and kids. There was a beautiful spot with a view over the harbor. I asked if the spot was available and he immediately answered ‘NO, it is reserved within 45 minutes’. It sounded really grumpy and unkind. We settled down at another table and literally one minute later another couple asked if the seat with the view over the harbor was available and he said something like ‘yes sure’. He did not ask about their name or something. In conclusion, the table was clearly not reserved and his unkind behavior really did disturb the ambiance. We left immediately.
