Perfect, local food. Excellent, personal service. Value for money. Fresh seafood, classic with a modern twist.
We were nicely welcome in what is to be a cozy small family restaurant. The lady probably owner) who welcomed us proposed to explain the menu in English) but turned out to explain only two dishes fish stew and fish of the day). We made our choices and eventually one of the main dish fish with sambal Bali also supporting an ONG organisation) turned out to the table as baked oven fish with potatoes. When we asked you if we are served the right menu the lady mumbled something and threw in some rice and a mix of coconut and spices… When check came the main dish was priced unfairly as fish of the day … and no recollection of misplacing our main dish…… We didn’t mind the end pricing of the whole dinner € 160) but moreso the opportunist way the lady treated us and not even a remorse apology for sending out a completely different meal…treating us as income of tourists she will never see again… Sad to run your business on these terms. We’re generous customers but we don’t enjoy being taken for granted.
Delicious!!!! Eat here. High quality, fresh seafood. I was so impressed with the beautiful taste of the dishes from such a small cute restaurant. I had the marinated sardine appetizer and turbot as the main. Both were extraordinarily yummy. Great chocolate desert too. Located on a quiet street just above the harbor. I sat out the backside which was lovely. If you book ahead you may be lucky enough to get the balcony. I was by myself and treated so well. The owner was so gracious, warm and hands on. The staff were efficient and caring. Highly recommend.
It was so good we booked to return days later. The small personal restaurant with a balcony overlooking a Cyprus tree home to hundreds of small birds romancing the evening sky is unforgettable. There are six indoor tables with two sittings and absolutely no rush. The owner has a multitude of languages and puts our lack of Catalan to shame as she guides us through what is on offer and what fabulous wines would best work with our choices. The menu and specials are Mediterranean sea food fine dining with a few mouth watering exceptions. Their original signature dish of Chicken Caneloni has a bechamal sauce to make your taste buds weep and an inner stuffing which transports you back to your rustic Italian farm yard childhood, even if like us you don't hail from said place. For me the sea food dishes are the ones to inhabit the memory and palate, requiring only the merest glimpse at a photo on the phone to instantly tantalise the taste buds and heart. The salt crusted anchovies, the sardines in a Tangy marinade. The grilled gambas and the Korean inspired Tuna with black garlic, Kimchi and almond cream, the touch of which was so light and delicate it had me giggling with every mouthful. You feel elation in this restaurant because there is love in the food and its preparation. Five stars are just not enough because this is not just exceptional food being created but memories too.
