We dined on their magnificent Terrace and we were left to discover such Fantastic food and wines paired artfully with impeccable service. We happened upon Hostal de La Placa on our way back to Barcelona to catch our flight back to SFO. We decided to have dinner here because of the other excellent reviews and we ending up having the best meal of our entire 3 week trip through Spain and South of France. Montserrat Julian stood out as fabulous, warm, kind, caring individuals. What impressed us thoroughly was the joy and friendliness we were given by all staff at all times. Cabrils was a perfect stop to land, jump into the raucous Mediterranean and have Sangria and cocktails while we reminisced about our journey and waited for our 8pm seating. We were not disappointed and instead felt rewarded by our choice to relax close to Barcelona yet in a different world altogether. Our room was lovely and we most appreciated the Ocean view from our window by the bed and the water pressure from a modern updated shower and bathroom. One tip I would like to share, ask for room 4 and 5 if larger is what you are looking for. Our last day and night in Spain was tranquil and orchestrated, such that instead of anxious we were left peaceful and happy and in love.
