The beautiful views from Xander's is ruined by the food they serve. My husbands prawns were only half cooked and to top OT off he was on the lol half the night!... read more The beautiful views from Xander's is ruined by the food they serve. My husbands prawns were only half cooked and to top OT off he was on the lol half the night!!!! So obviously the prawns were off. I had what they called Rack of Lamb. The first plate they bought out was half burnt, then after getting the second plate (half the size of the first) I find that it is notot rack of lamb but the flap or rib part. BTW my dad used to feed the dogs this flap part on the farm. We come to Broome every year for 4 months and we will never go to Zander's again. There are lots of other good restaurants in Broome sobwhy would one bother.

Located on the beachfront at Cable Beach. We only used it for breakfast but all our meals were well presented and of course great to eat. It arrived quickly but that wa... read more Went here just on sunset, not overly crowded, given a table and menus. Asked if we wanted a drink during first couple of minutes. It arrived quickly but that was the end of it. Waiters and waitresses wandering around aimlessly, no order taken for food, 25. minutes later we had finished our drink and left. We complained on the way out about service and to their credit we were only charged for one drink. Bottom line we were going for food and did not get it.

Best spot in Broome in regard to location. Don't go if you're in a hurry though. They are so slow. We ordered our meal 10min after arriving along with our coffees, the coffees arrived within 5/10 mins then we waited and waited for our food.. we enquired a cou... read more We ordered our meal 10min after arriving along with our coffees, the coffees arrived within 5/10 mins then we waited and waited for our food.. we enquired a couple of times as to how long it would be and we’re told it wouldn’t be long ..we could see other tables getting their meals that had come in after us, after waiting 45 mins it finally arrived and it was NOT worth waiting for the bacon was black.. inedible the eggs were rubbery. I would never go back and certainly would never recommend this eatery. The place also looked like it needed a good clean. If I could have given this place no stars I would have.

We were there late but checked i... read more Was excited to eat here, but it was only average. My husband had the steak, it was pretty fatty. I had the fish it was just OK. We were there late but checked if the kitchen was still open before sitting down, however as it was late, the staff dragged tables and chairs around setting up for the next day making heaps of noise. Overall it was an average dining experience, wouldn't go again.
