Amadeus is located right in the centre oppos... read more This is a great place to eat in Buxtehude. We visited the city twice for two nights on the way to and from Denmark. Amadeus is located right in the centre opposite the town hall in the pedestrian zone. The food is excellent, the service excellent, the portions very large. We visited twice: for the first time we sat outside, for the second time inside. It is a very old building in Dutch style. Try her monthly beer. It's heavenly!

The food... read more It was very difficult for me to find in that area a restaurant that caters for vegans and vegetarians but with luck via trip adviser, I found this one. The food is amazing. Large portions very delicious and even meateaters . We had a table for 12 people and all of them were verry happy with their meals. Serivce was exellent and the food came quickly.

Pretty packed on the night with locals so obviously popular. We asked for some beer and pizza, quickly delivered and very much to our taste. Nicely priced as well. A good variety on the meny. I would not hesitate to go again if a second time in Buxtehude occurs.
