Description
The Goose Bar & Kitchen in Busselton has recently reopened after a fire and locals were eagerly anticipating their meal. Despite excellent customer service, many diners were disappointed with the food quality, with some dishes being described as poor and underwhelming. However, the restaurant's beautiful location, great vibe, and potential for improvement as they settle back into operations have left many hopeful for a better experience on future visits. Overall, The Goose is praised for its stunning views, attentive staff, generous portion sizes, and a variety of food and beverage options suitable for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a casual coffee and cake break. While some may have mixed experiences with the food, the fantastic atmosphere and lovely setting make it a worthy stop for both locals and travelers looking for a meal with a view.

Was in Busselton and went to the new Goose restaurant for lunch. Being a cold winters day i decided to have the Brisket selected on the wood fired grill. Expecting to be served a nice hot meal i was served a cold luke warm meal. the brocolini was not grilled and there was no red wine jus. The meal was sent back,by the time i recevied the replacement meal i had lost my appetite.
Our breakfast was delicious. The coffees were lovely Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The place is so clean. We will be back again for sure.
Excited that the Goose has been rebuilt and now up and running. Great spot and vibe, the problem was that the meal i had was probably the worst cafe/restaurant meal i have had for years, i am no connoisseur but i had the wood roast market fish and it was rubbery and very hard to eat. I was hungry so i ate it but wow i was disappointed. My daughters brisket burger was also cold. I know they have only been open a week so i will be going back and hopefully it improves !!!
This is a great place to meet and eat or just a coffee. Sadly destroyed today. I really hope the can rebuild and return soon to offer their service to everyone. Our thoughts are with you.
Came here after a bit of fun at the beach, kids were soaking wet and sandy but we were made to feel welcome, sitting at a bar table on the alfresco. I recommend the Passionfruit Mojito very refreshing and delicious. We ordered two serves of chips, the roast vegetable dip and Turkish bread. The dip was sensational. Would come back again just for this, we were even dipping our hot chips into it. Next time we'll only order one bowl of chips, they were delicious, fresh hot chips though. We ate every last one, but left extremely full!
