What kim twist doesn't like about The Victoria Walshaw:
The service at this restaurant was very poor. The fish and chips were overcooked and the onion rings were greasy. It was clear that everything was cooked in old oil. I will not be coming back. We visited during a slow time, but the food and service were both excellent. We did not stay overnight in the hotel.
Nice pub in the centre of Walshaw. Great selection of beers although a little on the pricey side
This place is recently under new ownership. We really enjoyed it. Looks great inside. So cozy and pretty. Food was great. Service was great.

read moreNestled in a charming setting, this restaurant offers a mixed bag of experiences. While many guests praise the delicious, high-quality food and attentive service, others have voiced concerns over a limited menu and inconsistent atmosphere. Complaints about cold temperatures and occasional disturbances tarnish the dining experience. Nevertheless, the friendly staff and modern decor often redeem the venue, attracting families and locals alike. With standout dishes like Sunday roasts and a delightful breakfast, patrons are encouraged to return despite the occasional hiccup. Overall, the restaurant holds potential for a memorable meal, balancing charm with room for improvement.
