Description
Recently, diners have expressed mixed sentiments about a local Indian takeaway, a long-favored spot in the community. While many patrons appreciate the flavorful and authentic dishes with reasonable pricing, concerns have arisen over inconsistencies in food quality, particularly with chicken dishes and overly sweet curries. Some customers report delightful experiences, enjoying a range of offerings, while others feel that the allure of true Indian flavors has been compromised in favor of catering to local tastes. Despite the critiques, the restaurant continues to maintain a loyal customer base, praised for its friendly service and accommodating staff.

I hadn't been to this restaurant in a while. I ordered a lamb madras and a tarka daal with rice. Unfortunately, the curries tasted like watered-down leftovers. I considered returning them, but ended up throwing them in the bin instead.
I tried this restaurant for the first time last night and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it and will definitely be ordering from here again!
This was our first time trying an Indian takeaway in a while, and we all really enjoyed it. All five of us had a great meal. Our youngest, aged 8, loved his children's korma and everyone else was happy and satisfied.
The food and service at this takeaway is n always has been amazing since it first opened in fact my son was raised on their curries it really is the very nicest indian food ever.the English dishes too are tasty n delicious.
The Currys are too sweet ,not at all authentic. It is as though they are trying too hard to cater for the English pallet. Sorry but I want a great tasting authentic curry ,not one that is a cheap sweet substitute. Will the owners please take note of this . I have tasted a number over the years and it doesn't get better, just sweeter !
