I was intrigued by Taiwanese snacks & drinks and there is now another location of this restaurant at Wolli Creek. It looked busy on a weekday lunch time so... read more I was intrigued by Taiwanese snacks & drinks and there is now another location of this restaurant at Wolli Creek. It looked busy on a weekday lunch time so I thought it must be good. There are lots of snacks such as fried chilli basil chicken, tomago and Taiwanese pancakes and also of rice dishes with a chosen protein such as fried pork cutlet, curry, braised beef and more. There are also a couple of big bowls of warm looking noodle soup which was perfect for a cold, wet, rainy day. The bowl was definitely big and there are nice chunks of tender beef. The broth was quite spicy and you can see a layer of chilli oil on top. It was tasty but a bit too oily for my liking. The tomago or Japanese cheese omelette was delicious with a cheesy and creamy centre. Fried basil chicken was a little dry for my liking. The snack dishes are small so they are great to share. There is also a good selection of bubble tea drinks and flavoured slushies which are great to have catching up with a few snacks with friends.
