Onyx Grill - Burwood

One of the best dining experiences I've had. Hard to fault Onyx. Would happily dine there again. Definitely worth considering.

First time customer. Took my family out to celebrate our 16 year wedding anniversary. Was hoping to discover a local restaurant as we didn’t want to go into town, and we live 2kms away on the same road. My wife and I were very disappointed in the condiments/sauces which tasted like they were straight off a supermarket shelf, rather than made in-house by a chef. Even the deserts tasted like they were out of a retirement village. All we could taste was sugar. It was heavily processed, and straight out of a packet. Entrees were very pricey, with not real value for money. The meat was good. It was apparent after leaving, that ONYX tried hard to copy BLACK at The Star, and 6HEAD, but failed. Wont be coming back.

Sensational eating and great ambiente. the wine list must be checked and a little pricy for young wein, but definitiw the eating experience worth!

I was so disappointed by the service in this restaurant after I had forgotten our drink order. we received entrees without our drinks and paid an additional $20 for water of conduct the restaurant ran out of a main dish we order 3 and we had to choose something else. this was one of their most important signature dishes and we could not order it we were not given brot and had to ask for it at the end of our meal moreover we had to eat our escapes on the broth plates, because we were not given the right teller for disappointing when he was complaining with the crib, was the only thing he had taken out of the menu that drinks they had asked us we were a party of 6 people and we were all very dissatisfied with the service, and the restaurant

Although the venue was busy and the wait times were a little long, the wait for our meals was definitely worth it! The staff were extremely attentive, and looked after us so well! Definitely recommend the lobster linguine
