Aunt Lil's - Burwood

I am a big fan of soft pretzels. I love that Aunt Lil's sells a vegan variety of these, that actually tastes really great too. The coffee here is decent, but I reckon the desserts are really what you should be coming for. Service varies a bit here, but overall I found the staff reasonably friendly. The cute little cafe is close to the bustling food court, so it can get loud and distracting, but I do like the fact that Aunt Lil's has their own little space.

Located in Burwood Westfield food court, it is a great place to stop by after shopping up a storm or take a leisurely coffee break. Offering an assortment of cakes, pretzels, and scrolls, they are all look well presented and enticing. The service here is super friendly and helpful. The lady serving did not mind telling me all the flavour of scrolls they had. She also advised that when eating in that the glass of coffee was smaller than the largest takeaway cup they offer so that was a lovely touch as could've easily just given me the smaller glass for eat in and charged me the same. I had a Cinnamon Scroll and a Mocha. For some reason haven't tried the pretzels here even though that is their main seller. I keep coming back for the scrolls and although they are slightly pricy, they always taste freshly made and delicious. The coffee was quite good as well.

Hmmm admittedly I have not tried the coffee here but I do pop by here occasionally. I find service hit and miss,sometimes they see me,sometimes they don't! But staff are friendly. I've had there pretzels and cupcakes and while it's ok I just found it pricy. My vegetarian pretzel was $6.50 which is expensive. My own fault I didn't look at the price. I think I keep dropping by because I forget about the prices they charge. But what they have to offer visually is very appealing,what a catch 22!

All round cute little cafe in Burwood Westfield. Pretzels seem to be their thing, with a section dedicated to making just this. Will have to go back to see what they're like. Service was very friendly, and you could see they would have a following of locals with their approachable nature and upbeat vibe. Just had a mixed berry frappe which was decent and refreshing, so I suppose it did its job.

Her spelt is very average. but her cappuccino was good. the price is reasonable and the staff is polite. they have different types of spelt. the one I tried is the filling of custard. it wasn't so fresh.
