We were recommended Pig Grits by a local and we were so glad we went! The dinner was delicious and the service was excellent. We had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes as a large group, and we especially enjoyed the amazing BBQ. The bread pudding made in-house was also a delicious option for dessert. The service, food quality, cleanliness, and aesthetics were all top-notch. Highly recommend trying out Pig Gri... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pig Grits:
Neat little spot in Burnsville. Food was hit or miss. I was extremely disappointed with the grits. No flavor, no seasoning, tasted like they were cooked with water instead of stock. Also disappointed with the catfish Po boy. Very little flavor. The mac cheese was also flavorless. The fried pickles were delicious however, I would give this place a second chance but any place that has grits in the name should be one of... View all feedback.
Having lived in the area before, I always make sure to stop by Pig and Grits when I'm in town. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, they have a great variety to choose from, the staff is attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic. If you're in Burnsville or the surrounding area, you definitely shouldn't miss out on this top spot. During our most recent visit, I tried the Honey Sriracha Hen Sandwich and the Miss Piggy Breakfast. Breakfast is a special meal in the South, second only to dinner, and the complimentary cinnamon roll was hands down the best I've ever had!
I was very impressed with this restaurant, which is not something that happens often. The service and food were both absolutely fantastic and delicious!
This restaurant is still my preferred spot for breakfast in town! The staff is friendly and the food is delicious!
It 's difficult to rate atmosphere. It 's good Barbecue Atmosphere. Not Michelin atmosphere. The portions are enormous. Good hush puppies, onion rings. Variety of sauces.
Didn't dine in but the food was horrible...the greens were just boiled in water no taste as the smoked chicken was too..the barbecue beans tasted like they were in a bunch of ketchup..the smoked turkey was ok..a little on the dry side...won't be going back there
