The Fat Giraffe

We have a family come together here twice in year and it never disappointed! there are usually about 20 of us in the age of our little boy who is 14 months old up to my oma, which is in her late 80s! and the staff always offers an excellent service for us all! to say we can be a difficult bundle is probably a subdue, as some of us foot eaters and we all end up according to order from different menus that allow most of them to be brilliant! so beautiful and happy and polite and so very welcoming! the bar area is warm and cozy and a good location to sit and drink. the bar is well stocked and they have a great wine card with all tastes and budgets for. eating is always very good! we all had different appetizers, I went for the smoked salmon roulade, which was delicious! and chose the turkey Christmas dinner from her Christmas menu as my main, which was also good and the truthahn was not dry at all so bonus points! the veg is always really fresh, well cooked and seasoned. and becky was friendly enough to do baby portions for our son and even went to get more ground when he decided he wanted. we have absolutely love here and we will visit again soon!

We celebrated our wedding at this restaurant on Saturday. Leading up to the busy time, Bekki was extremely helpful and made us feel at ease. We had a fantastic meal and the staff was very attentive. The tables were beautifully set up and the food was delicious. Everyone had a wonderful time. We want to thank all the employees at the cellar restaurant for making our day so special. XXX

Went on New Years day as always the staff are friendly and deliver an excellent service and the meal was superb the starter of fish cakes were delicious as we don't live in the area we don't get to dine here as often as we would like but it is always a lovely treat when we visit Padiham.

Tonight we came for a last-minute dinner and were impressed with both the service and the delicious food. We loved our experience and would highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you!

Lovely Place, Very Welcoming, excellent food, Bekki and the front of house staff are brilliant and our every need was well catered for. All 26 of us could not fault anything, we celebrated a Christening and we will visit again soon!
