Raindrops - Burnie
Raindrops
Description
Dining at this restaurant offers a range of experiences, from excellent service and flavorful dishes to disappointing meals and slow service. While some patrons rave about perfectly cooked steaks and attentive staff, others bemoan overcooked appetizers and lackluster entrees. The atmosphere leans towards the dim and dated, yet the cleanliness and art in the bathrooms leave a positive impression. Most agree that while the menu is somewhat limited, the prices remain reasonable. Overall, the restaurant manages to deliver memorable moments, but inconsistencies in food quality and service may lead diners to seek alternatives.

The staff was attentive, the restaurant was clean and tidy, and the menu had a good selection of food and drinks. There were options for both entree and main sizes. The drink menu also had a variety, including cocktails. Prices for mains ranged from $20 to $36. I tried the duck with orange and ginger, which was delicious. The vegetables could have been presented differently, but that's a minor point. The steak was cooked well. For dessert, I had the wagon wheel pav, which was lovely but a bit too rich for my taste. Overall, a good dining experience.
The meal was fantastic, a great value for the price, and the portions were generous. The steak was particularly delicious.
Meals were delicious. recommended the tasting and chips for the child meal. I enjoyed the art deco decor. the seafood chowder was very beautiful! I would recommend some more vegetarian and/or vegan options on the menu. good service someone was always there, but eating took about minutes to arrive.
