I'm not sure if it's just this particular Subway or if it's a chain-wide issue, but the recent menu updates and food changes have not been for the better. The prices are outrageous now. My footlong chicken teriyaki with avocado cost nearly $15, and that didn't even include chips or a drink. For that price, I could have had a full meal and a glass of wine at many restaurants in town. The sandwich itself was disappointing; it was so small that it felt sad. I didn't take pictures, but at first glance, it looked like just an empty piece of bread due to the lack of ingredients, despite choosing seven additional toppings along with the chicken. They’ve changed the chicken, making it more generic for use on other sandwiches and removing the special marinade, which resulted in a bland flavor. Additionally, instead of the beloved sweet onion sauce, they now use the sauce that used to be served on the chicken and completely omit the sweet onion sauce that I always enjoyed. The bread seemed stale and disintegrated when any sauces were added. This was even more problematic for the meatball subs my nephew and mom ordered; they both refused to eat them because they didn’t taste right. The bread fell apart so easily that they would have needed a fork and plate to manage it. The paper holding the sandwiches fell apart too, making a mess everywhere, so I ended up feeding them to my dogs. With the small portions, reduced quality, and rising prices, I can safely say that I won’t be returning to Subway. On a positive note, the employee was very sweet.

While one worker was very attentive and completed all the tasks, the other needed to be asked for assistance and was rude to customers. I made sure to compliment the nice employee on the excellent job she was doing and her kindness towards everyone. Despite the negative interaction, I still gave it a five-star rating thanks to the fantastic worker who made the experience enjoyable.

Subway offers excellent service, with friendly and patient staff who are great at taking orders.
