Although our experience wasn't as quick as exp... read more My wife and I recently stopped at Whataburger (location #744) in Burnet, TX, during a road trip for a quick meal. Although our experience wasn't as quick as expected, we understood that they prepare food upon order. Theresa was the person taking our order, and she truly excelled, providing the best customer service. My wife ordered the three chicken strips with ranch dipping sauce and a small drink. I opted for the grilled chicken sandwich without a combo, just the sandwich itself. Theresa informed us that it would take about eight minutes, and she later checked in to see if we were okay with the wait, which we were. Once our order was ready, we ate in our truck since we had our dog with us. I unwrapped my chicken sandwich, and the heat escaped, revealing just how hot it was. Taking a bite, I found it to be fresh from the grill, which was great. However, in terms of flavor, it was lacking. The chicken was tender yet bland, even with seasoning. I’m not sure how Whataburger typically prepares their food, but I was expecting more in terms of taste. My wife's chicken strips were just "okay" too—nothing special. So, there you have it; there was nothing remarkable about Whataburger aside from the fact that my chicken sandwich was served piping hot, and the service was outstanding. The next time we pass through Burnet, I plan to stop by again to give Theresa a Dollar Bow Tie Award and a generous tip because she truly deserves it for her excellent service.

The highlight of our visit was... read more We stopped by this restaurant for dinner on our way to Inks Lake State Park. It was a Friday evening, but we were served quickly. The highlight of our visit was our cashier, who was both friendly and incredibly funny; he kept the kids entertained while we waited. I definitely recommend checking this place out, and I'll be sure to return if I'm in the area again.
