Togo Sushi - Burnaby

Sushi was fishy and heavily squeezed together in one small box. Every sauce was mixed together from different rolls which ruined the taste. Also I wasn’t even sure what I was eating with super long kappa extending out of my sushi.

Nori was chewy from not being fresh, maki were a little loose. Not great quality for the price. You do get quantity though.

This place is as the name suggests. Good place to get decent sushi to go. The only issue I had with the food is that the bento box chicken seem like it was boiled then smothered with not so tasty teriyaki sauce. Regardless of that, the sashimi and rolls were good!

Quality fell off since covid, aside from the chicken teriyaki(sauce. The chicken is carried by the sweet-salty sauce, and the beef teriyaki is the same. However, for beef it 's pretty tender.Checkout their generous wasabi portion!!Now the sushi actually isn 't bad, and tastes pretty fresh usually. I 'd recommend the volcano roll.Their prices have increased by almost 50% for special rolls since 2021, the volcano roll was 6.75 and now it costs 9.75.The cashiers are ok, not the most friendly but not rude either..? It depends on their moodThey get your food out fast, which is good. Make sure to listen carefully because the servers won 't yell your order number.
