Although the parking can be challenging, this place is worth visiting! We had the biang-biang spicy hot oil noodles with braised beef, and it was THAT good we still thinking about it weeks later. The noodle was perfectly cooked for chewiness, the serving amount for the beef was generous and it was tender, got the right flavour throughout. The staff was courteous and helped and answered our questions. What U V doesn't like about Old Xian's Food:
This restaurant is a hit or miss for me. Ordered online and in person. I have tried many dishes here. Sweet Sour Pork, hot sour pork with rice, cumin lamb noodles, spicy oil noodles with tomato and egg… the list goes on…21st Nov, whoever cooked was great. But 22Nov, the food was sub-par and the sweet and sour pork was only sweet. So, Kudos to the chef who can cook and do better to the chef that cannot. The only reason... View all feedback.
Always have cold noodles here, but this time, the clod noodles test very bad! They just gave a little bit sauce, the noodles is super dry and flavorless! They was generous with the sauce and the cold noodles were very tasty, don?t know what?s happened, very disappointed.
Best Xian style noodles I have had outside of China. They have a lot of vegetarian/vegan options. Highly recommended. Really good food. Authentic and generous portion size. I like their fast service too.
I wouldn't usually eat somewhere with less than 4 stars but the negative reviews seemed to be mostly about the service and attitude of the employees, which I can overlook if the food is good. I ordered the pita bread soaked in lamb soup and the pork burger. The pork burger was fine, but nothing special in terms of the flavour. Some parts of the meat were a bit fatty which was a bit of a turn off. I've had better burgers elsewhere. The soup was disappointing. It lacked seasoning and the pieces of meat were fairly low quality. Lots of fatty, grissly bits, pieces of cartilage, etc. I've tried this dish in Xi'an before, so I had some high expectations which were not met at this visit. Not sure if I am willing to try this place again as there are other places that have better food.
Located on the second floor food court inside Crystal mall. If you’re looking for hand pulled noodles in hot spicy oil. You may want to try this place. We also tried they are mushroom pork shumai, didn’t like it too much. Mostly filled with sticky rice than meat. But some people may like this type of shumai. I prefer the Chinese burgers or noodle dishes.
The noodles taste great and good customer service here..
