Me-N-Ed's Pizza Parlor - Burnaby

I used to visit this restaurant often as a child and absolutely enjoyed it. However, when I returned last year, I was greatly disappointed by the poor quality of the pizza. While I did like the thin and crispy crust, I found the tomato sauce to be lacking in flavor, the cheese to be rubbery in both taste and texture, and the toppings to be rather bland.

My dining experience at this restaurant was disappointing. While I appreciated the simple decor and laid-back atmosphere, the food was subpar and the service was lacking. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and was disappointed to find that every slice was hollow and overcooked, with a hard, crunchy crust. The tomato sauce was overly sweet, which may just be a matter of personal preference. Unfortunately, our server was nowhere to be found, taking ten minutes to bring a pitcher of beer in an almost empty restaurant. By the time she checked on us, we had already eaten some of the pizza out of hunger and felt too uncomfortable to send it back. I used to enjoy dining at Me n’ Ed’s, but after this experience, I will not be returning.

Consistently good food at Me Ed’s. My mom used to take us as kids, and 50 years later I still love going. I don’t go often as it add$ up when there is two of us but worth a treat now and then. The server was very friendly and attentive. Would visit this location again.

Always love their pizzas and salads. A little more pricey than other pizza establishments but well worth it! Choices in crust and we prefer thinner sooo good!Kid friendliness: For sure kids welcome and high chairs available. Lots of sport teams come here !
