La Fontana Cafe - Burnaby

This place is like in a living room, surrounded by friends. there are board games, films and sci-fi memorabilia everywhere they see. the games are a invite, paired with a beautiful coffee, it is easy to spend time here. on Friday evenings they have sci-fi...movies or shows and the place fills with friendly people with a mutual love for sci-fi. If that is something they enter, they should definitely check the place. I found eating in order, but the coffee was extraordinary.

This place has been on my bucket list for years whenever I would get my hair done at the salon, however, for one reason or another I would either forget

For me, the claim to fame and main reason to visit is the washroom door disguised as a DrWho style blue police booth.

Warm ambience, plenty of space and a nice selection of games. Great for getting together with friends - come host your next game night here! :)

This kind of has the feel of the place on the corner someplace reliable and comfortable you go back to.The food is authentically Italian, and portions are more than generous. The staff are busy but personable. The atmosphere is a bit cafeteria , but the outdoor space is a nice bonus.Give it a try you might end up going back again and again.
